Basically this project was a creation of a mid sized ERP solution that involved modules that needed to be taken from an existing system (created in Unix/Windows) into a separate Windows based system with a SQL server for the backend during implementation. The new system would have some modules from the original system, while new modules needed to be created that would work with the existing system and also would involve a third party software used for data transfer. The system also had a large amount of files (pictures) that would need to be automatically uploaded along with different data’s on a daily basis. In addition to this, some other modules were also implemented. A secure admin system was created for the client to facilitate usage for their internal team for regular updates to the system on modules that the team were comfortable doing. Places were the team could edit/add/delete text and pictures, on the front-end were also provided. Newsletter system with an edit/update facility was created, plus the system had auto-generated email system that could be used by the company and their clients for user acceptance and rejection. A sophisticated database system was created that had different elements as per the clients’ requirements, which took into consideration the existing system and their current client data to match the new system that we created.
Pleasing visuals were needed that would emulate the Company’ business (selling different items) for this Web site.
Project was implemented using ASP, TSQL (Server 2000), Java script, MS-SQL Server 2000, while Photoshop and HTML was used for the front-end.
